This Tuesday, January 21st, over one dozen computer programmers from local tech companies are volunteering to help teens 
learn how to code. This first Boise Code Club session will take place at the Watercooler, 1401 W. Idaho Street, between 3 and 5 pm.

Code.org wants your help in Idaho. Idaho is poised to adopt a policy that will expand computer science education for high school students. You can help make it a reality.

The Idaho State Board of Education has proposed a policy that recognizes computer science as foundational knowledge for the 21st century. It would allow high school students who take an advanced computer science course to count it as a math or science credit.
