HB 598 passed the senate floor and is heading to the Governor's desk for signature.

What does HB 598 do?

1. Modernizes the definition of "software" (last updated in the early 90's).  Defines cloud services/electronically delivered software in the same bucket as other services in Idaho like accounting services, legal services, etc. . . . These services are not subject to Idaho sales tax.
